Kim Taewoo and Seohyun impressed their fans by providing an awesome fantasy joint performance on the 31st at Ilsan MBC Dream center, where gagman Kim Goora and Shin Jeong Hwan, along with actress Lee Bo Young MCed the 2009 MBC Gayo Daejun.

On stage, Seohyun and Kim Taewoo surprised fans by combining perfect voicing and piano playing for Kim Taewoo's Love Rain. The performance was further enhanced due to the presence of a full orchestra. Seohyun's perfect piano performance and Kim Taewoo's explosive voicing created a fantasy atmosphere in the building.

[NEWS] Taecyeon kneels down, and kisses Yoona?!

2PM's Taecyeon and SNSD's Yoona presented a lover performance on the 31st on MBC Gayo Daejun where Kim Goora, Shin Jeong Hwan, and Lee Bo Young MCed.

On this day, the two transformed themselves into actors, where they had to pretend to the 'top star couple' and had to argue with each other, resulting in Yoona being angry at Taecyeon. Taecyeon then tried to call Yoona many times with no avail, resulting in fellow members moving out of their respective dormitories. SNSD members then tried to console Yoona into making up with Taecyeon, resulting in her flee from her dormitory as well. On MBC's stage, Yoona was positioned at the corner of one side with an upset expression. The rest of SNSD than sang Lee Hyori's 10minute and Beyonce's Crazy Love.

At this time, Taecyeon appeared and proposed to Yoona, which made Yoona's feeling get better. They then came out together to the centre of the stage and preformed the "Kiss" where their lips almost touched.

When there is news that two people will perform a 'lovers performance', some media companies misinterpret the news and state that there is a love connection between the two individuals. Sadly the relationship between the two idols is just colleagues, and not lovers.

[NEWS] T-ara will Release a Traditional Version of 'Bo Peep, Bo Peep'!

For the new year, T-ara will be releasing a Traditional version of 'Bo Peep, Bo Peep.'

November 2009, T-ara released their first studio album Absolute First Album, and they have previously performed Christmas versions of their song 'Bo Peep, Bo Peep' on Inkigayo and Music Bank. T-ara members dressed up as Christmas characters, objects, and ornaments for those performances. This time round, T-ara will be showcasing a new version of their song, and it's time for Traditional.

"There is a small event planned for the fans and the new concept will be cuter and more surprising to look out for," said T-ara's agent.

T-ara will be performing the new version of 'Bo Peep, Bo Peep' on the upcoming episodes of Music Bank, Music Core, and Inkigayo this weekend.

[News/Video] "We want to keep doing our best," DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki shakes away break-up rumors and spoke of their new year aspiration on "CDTV

The popular Korean group Tohoshinki, who is in the midst of having break-up rumors, performed on "60th NHK Kouhaku Utagassen" on the last day of the year, and later appeared on TBS' special program "CDTV SPECIAL! New Year's Eve Premium Live 2009→2010". When being asked by MC TAKAHIRO (EXILE) what their aspiration for the new is, Jaejoong stopped a moment and only said, "We want to keep doing our best like last year."

After the three members of Tohoshinki - Junsu, Jaejoong, and Yoochun - filed a lawsuit to request for a provisional disposition to terminate the exclusive contract with their managing company, there have been rumors of them breaking up floating around. There are also rumors that the members cannot come together as normal and that their actions are being observed. However, in fact, on the rehearsal day of Kouhaku, it has been reported that the three members and Yunho, Changmin returned to their waiting room in two separate groups.

After performing "Stand by U" at Kouhaku, they chose to not answer the press corps' questions. At CDTV, they only said "Good evening, we are Tohoshinki" and sang the song which contained a message in its lyrics.

[News]Lee Jun Ki Voted As The Top Hallyu Star Of The Year

Korean actor Lee Jun-ki has been voted top Hallyu Star of the year in a survey conducted by a Korean business news publication, according to a press release by his agency Mentor Entertainment on Thursday.

In a recent poll titled "2009 My Vote for Top 6 Stars of the Year", Finance and Economy News asked viewers who they thought were this year's top six entertainers in the following categories; Male idol group, Female group, Solo singer, Male actor, Female actress, Hallyu Star, Drama and Film. Each respondent was allowed to vote for one star in each category.

Results for the survey -- conducted from December 21 thru 29 -- were based on the votes cast by netizens as well as the site's Internet statistics, such as the number of times each star's news articles were read.

Amongst nominees in the Hallyu Star category including actors Bae Yong-joon, Gang Dong-won, Kwon Sang-woo, Lee Jun-ki, So Ji-sub and Song Seung-hun, Lee raked in 40 percent of the total 26,078 votes to be selected as the No. 1 Hallyu Star of 2009.

"I feel more happy and touched [by the news], perhaps because this is the last day of the year," the actor was quoted as saying. "I think it carries a bigger significance because netizens directly voted for me as this year's top Hallyu star. This year was very meaningful because I got to meet my Asian fans in Japan, China and Taiwan."

Lee, 27, became a household name after appearing as a woman-like clown in the 2005 film "The King and the Clown". He currently stars in MBC TV series "Hero", where he plays a passionate magazine reporter, and won the People's Choice Popularity award yesterday at MBC Acting Awards.

[News]Rain Express His Feelings Regarding Bbaek Ga's Condition

Actor and singer Rain (real name: Jung Jee-hoon, 27) expressed his concerned feelings regarding his close friend Bbaek-ga (real name: Baek Sung-hyun, 28) who has been suffering from a brain tumor, saying, “Bbaek-ga is a strong person and will overcome.”

In a recent interview, Rain remarked about Bbaek-ga’s fight against the disease. Rain said, “Since I met him when I was 15 years old, we danced together, and our relationship has been strong with trust for each other. These are not just comforting words. He will be fine just as before, because he is strong.”

Bbaek-ga was diagnosed with a brain tumor during his service as a public servant at the Seoul Central District Court. He has been scheduled for tumor removal surgery on Jan. 22, 2010 at a general hospital located in Kangnam, Seoul.

A spokesperson for Bbaek-ga reported, "The size of the tumor is large, but fortunately it is not a malignant tumor. However, according to medical staff, the surgery will not be easy because it is in the cerebral meninges and the disease can come back."

The spokesperson added, "Bbaek-ga is receiving additional tests now before surgery, and he is being careful to think about positive thoughts. Meanwhile, Bbaek-ga left the message on his personal Cyworld homepage, ‘My homepage was hacked by pornographic site ads after the news about my sickness and I did not want to deal with it,’ and he closed it.”

T7: There seems to be a lot of idol groups lately. What do you think BEAST’s specialty is, if you even have one?
B: Personality perhaps? I think all six of us have distinct characteristics.

T7: How does it feel having a nicname “Pet Idols”?
B: Honestly, I think they started calling us Pet Idols because of Yoseobie. Even for us, he looks cute just by looking at him. Just like a pet, you want to keep him by your side. Although the rest of the members’ individual characters have not been revealed as of yet, we hope to have a distinct nicname ,like Yoseobie’s, one day.

T7: Who do you consider your role model?
B: Shinhwa and GOD seniors. We look up to Shinhwa seniors’ unique singing and performing abilities. And as you well know, GOD members were well known for being loved by the masses;thus, we aspire to be like them.

T7: Not too long ago, you guys held your very first fan signing event, how did it feel to meet your fans face to face?
B: I was really shocked to see such great attendance. Although our time very was short, the fact that we were able to meet them upfront made us very ecstatic.

T7: Were there any fans that you remember, that stood out?
B: There was a fan that brought us a whole chicken. She brought it to our first fan signing event. She also appeared for the 2nd meeting. Alas, she brought us another one. This time two. We used them to make baeksook and ate it.

T7: This past December 12, heard BEAST members were nominated for “Rookie Music Award”. I know it has great meaning particularly among new idol groups. Tell us your future activities and aspirations?
B: First, we’re very thankful. Without ever losing our intention of wanting to be the best, BEAST will like to be known for continually trying our best in everything that we do. So please stay tuned.
