[News] Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry Named One of Asia’s Most Popular Song

Super Junior’s ‘Sorry Sorry’ was been crowned as one of Asia’s most popular song. Super Junior, in Thailand’s Channel [V] Thailand Music of Asia, in the last one year, has received many requests from viewers (via the internet site, email, etc.) and with all the requested songs compiled, Thailand’s Channel [V] has released the Asian TOP 50 Year End 2009 chart, and their 3rd Studio Album ‘Sorry Sorry’ had rise to achieving the 1st placing in the chart.

Super Junior has also achieved this feat in 2007, when they received many requests from viewers in lieu with a compilation list of 100 songs. After that, Thailand’s Channel [V] released the 2007’s Top 100 Songs, in which ‘Happiness’ was ranked 1st. Super Junior also dominated Taiwan’s radio channel ‘Hit Fm’ released the 100 singles chart for 2009, ranking 1st. Sorry Sorry also got about 250,000 votes on the Internet on Taiwan’s online music site, KKBOX, which they were rank 1st in the Korean-Japanese songs chart for 30 consecutive weeks.

A representative also stated, “Super Junior has won the Golden Disk’s Daesang in the year 2009, giving them the rights to be the king of music, in South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan, sweeping the Asia’s Pop charts with the ‘Sorry Sorry’ fever.”

Super Junior Kyuhyun’s (Listen…to you) has got No.1 on the real time chart.

On 6th’s morning, when was released on the music site monkey3 (www.monkey3.co.kr), the song “Listen…to you” has reached #1 and gained a lot of attention.

“Listen…to you” is the love theme song for the characters Choi Hyunwook (Lee Sungkyoon) & Seo Yookyung (Gong Hyojin). Kyuhyun’s charming voice in “Listen…to you” is harmony with the scenes of the drama has got a lot of good comments from netizens.
