Netizens are calling her "Byun Tae Yeon" as Byun Tae's meaning is pervert according to K Bites!

I’m just about making public everything~

there were some “ilchon”* people who got removed~~~!!^^

and there was some misunderstanding~

Although (my cyworld) is hacked but that person just looked around here and there in my cy

[DKP Special] After School is the female version of 2PM??

[News] The “growth” of KARA over the past 2 years?

A schedule showing the “growth” of group KARA in the Korean variety show circle has given netizens much laughter.

A netizens posted up a collated schedule for KARA for year 2008 and 2009 on an internet cafe, and the stark difference between their schedule in the 2 years catches the attention of many.

During New year’s week in 2008, it was a week where only member Han SeungYeonwill appear on broadcast, back then the group has not received as much popularity as they do now. But during Thanksgiving week the same week, things are different.

With new members Goo Hara and Kang JiYoung joining the group, the group began going on various broadcast shows. With that, they were packed with schedules on broadcast shows during New Year week and Thanksgiving week in 2009.

The netizens who posted this described this as ‘KARA’s growth/development’ by comparing the schedule of the group when normally people would have associated ‘growth’ with image of a group. Seeing this netizens’ responses are “Kekeke”, “Good”, “It was funny” etc.

[News] Jo Kwon and GaIn’s duet ‘We Fell In Love’ taking music chart by storm

2AM Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls GaIn’s debut collaboration ‘We Fell In Love’ has been taking music charts by storm.

The song has climbed up to the #1 spot on Monkey 3 site for the 4th week of December (21st ~ 27th December) in the same week of its release. The 2 who are currently playing make-believe couple for MBC We Got Married and the lyrics to the song talks about the real story of the 2 in a soft melody.

#2 goes to Gummy’s ‘Because Of You’ which is also the main theme for SBS drama ‘Will it snow this Christmas?’.

[News] JYPE's Comment on '100 Things To Watch'

Wonder Girls has made the list of “100 Things to Watch in 2010” announced by JWT.

South Korean girl group Wonder Girls has made the list of "100 Things to Watch in 2010" announced by JWT, a global marketing communications network.

"With their good looks, slick packaging, infectious pop songs and trend-setting videos, this South Korean girl group has conquered Asia and has its sights on the rest of the world," it said on the Web site of its advertising unit JWT Intelligence (jwtintelligence.com).

"The Girls, who recently became the first Korean act to crack the Top 100 Billboard chart in the U.S., will release their next U.S. album in February," it added.

In the alphabetical list, the group placed 99th.

The global ad company's recognition of the five Korean members is expected to add a fresh impetus to the group's activities in the American market.

"It's a nice surprise that Wonder Girls attracted the attention of the world-class ad company less than one year after they made their American debut," said an official from JYP Entertainment, the agency for Wonder Girls. "It's meaningful that it acknowledged their potential."

Korea's Wonder Girls rank on "100 Things to Watch in 2010" trends list in U.S.

Korea's female pop group Wonder Girls were selected among the "List of 100 Things to Watch in 2010" by JWT Intelligence, one of America's best-known marketing communications brand, the group's Seoul agent said Monday, according to Yonhap News.

The Korean divas, who made their U.S. debut this past summer, took the 99th spot on the alphabetically ranked list, which said "With their good looks, slick packaging, infectious pop songs...This South Korean girl group has conquered Asia and has its sights on the rest of the world."

JWT Intelligence is the trend-spotting branch of JWT, one of the world's largest advertising and communication businesses.

"The trends explored here, which we believe have significant weight and momentum, are likely to be with us for a while," the official website of JWT said.

Wonder Girls, composed of five young females in their late teens to early 20s, made their local debut in 2007 and gave their first official performance in the United States July this year as the opening act for American Idol group the Jonas Brothers in Washington D.C.

Selling 30,000 copies of their debut single in the United States, the group also earned the No. 76 position on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, the first time that a South Korean music group has debuted on the chart.

"We are surprised and happy with the result," JYP Entertainment, the group's local agent said. "We hope for the best in the Wonder Girls' next album, slated for a February release in the United States."
