BEAST's popularity is increasing by the day.
6-member boy band BEAST is planning on having a fan meeting & showcase next year on January 5th. For this performance, which is a response to the love BEAST's fans have shown them, 5,000 fans immediately applied for the fan meeting which only has space for 500 people, and the response surprised their company. After this, CUBE Entertainment is currently in the process of moving the fan meeting to a venue that can hold 3,000 people.
Venues that can hold 3,000 people are typically the second choices for large concerts. In the current situation, this so-called showcase has turned into a performance no different from a concert. This truly reveals the price of fame for BEAST, a group which is a front runner for representing this generation's idol groups. Already people in the music industry and fans of the music industry are not hesitant to pick BEAST as a group which will shine in 2010.
A company representative said, "We were planning on holding the fan meeting in a venue for 500 people, but the explosive response left even the company not knowing what to do. After seeing the response, we believe we'll change to a bigger venue so that BEAST can be with more fans."
