[News] He’s alive!: Kibum’s Jumunjin will be showing on screens soon

[Jumunjin], with Super Junior’s Kibum and actress Hwang Bora as its leads, has been slated for a release next year, on the 21st of January.

Directed by Ha Myeong-jung, [Jumunjin] is set in the Korean city of Jumunjin, with its beautiful scenery as a backing for the story. According to the production team, the movie aims to show that “love is beautiful and pure” through the storyline, which involves a man who lives aimlessly because he cannot forget his deceased lover, and the village girl who loves him in return.

The male lead, Kibum from Super Junior, already has much popularity due to his status as a member of the idol boy band. In [Juminjin], he will play the male lead, who chooses to live like a ghost due to the pain of losing his first love. Hwang Bora will play the role of the curious village girl who is in love with Kibum’s character.

This is the second time the two have collaborated.

[News]2pm pre-debut pictures will be shown on MBC

Never-before-seen photographs of boy band 2PM members from their childhood days will be shown on MBC's cable channel tonight.

MBC every1 said in a press release Wednesday that its documentary program "Star: The Secret" will feature photos and anecdotes of Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Junsu from their school years before they became K-pop idols.

The contents to be disclosed include footage from Taecyeon's old commercials from back when he was working as a model and actor during his trainee days at agency JYP Entertainment.

Another member Wooyoung will be seen in a high-school dance competition, dancing with a female teacher at a school festival. Wooyoung was reportedly well-known in his hometown of Busan for being a passionate dancer who practiced his dance steps for hours.

2PM main vocal Junsu's past will also be revealed -- at 17, he entered a local singing competition and won second place. He was also a talented writer, winning eight awards for his writing chops. "Secret" will carry footage from the singing competition and one of his early poems.

2PM has become one of the most successful idol groups in Korea since their debut last year. They made a much-hyped comeback as a six-member band after former leader Park Jae-beom quit the group in early September over controversial comments he made about Korea on his MySpace account before his debut.

The episode of "Star" featuring 2PM members will air late tonight at 12:15 a.m.

[UFO] Taeyang UFO Message:One is Such a Lonely Number

This is from the summer of 2008 when he just finished his solo activities. TaeYang recounts how he felt during the period. Patra’s video is coming up shortly. In the mean time, don’t forget to send in your messages for the ATY Christmas project! 

It feels like only yesterday that my solo album came out but it was already two month ago. I’ve just wrapped up my 60-odd days of solo activities. Looking back, the release had been delayed quite a bit and I realize that I had made you wait for too long.

When I first held a copy of my first album in my hands, with my name on it, I remember I had this hard to describe feeling. All these memories poured out – the days I had to work alone, I used to be with the guys all the time and now I was alone in the recording studio, working by myself. Some things were more difficult but I also had some fun. It was also a very moving experience. And a proud one as well.

Most importantly, I felt responsible to do well because I knew you’d been waiting for so long. When I first started my solo activities, everything felt new. Even the TV studios where I used to feel so comfortable and familiar now felt a bit awkward. I even felt a bit overwhelmed. However, I knew you were always there for me to support me. That really helped me and gave me strength. I think I appreciated the presence of my bandmates more than ever during my solo activities. On the stage, in the dressing room – things felt a bit unfamiliar somehow and I felt lonely especially in the dressing room. I had to eat alone – had to do practically everything alone. I just missed the guys a lot. So when I was back at our apartment after a day’s work, I was just so glad to see them again.

My solo period was a real eye-opener for me. Learned lots of new things. First off, there was only me on the stage, instead of five of us, which helped me clearly realize what needed to be improved. Now I can see what I should work on and in which direction. I also realized how much the other members meant to me. To sum it up, it was just such a great, priceless experience. Last but not least, the experience helped me realize that I am the happiest when I am on stage be it as Big Bang or by myself.

The one sent to Taecyeon by the other girl was written using period blood but this one appeared to be more dangerous.

[News] The Wonder Girls to tour US in January!

The Wonder Girls, a five-member, all-girl band from South Korea, took the hit reality show “So You Think You Can Dance” by storm last night (Dec. 9) and may well launch the Korean invasion of U.S. pop music.

The oldest Yubin , 21, joined band in late-2007. Sunye (Sun) is the leader and Ye-eun (Yenny) joined the Wonder Girls as the 5th member through an audition not long before their debut. Both are 20 years old. At 17, Sunmi (Mimi) and Sohee are the youngest members.

The band’s performance on last night’s show gave them their first exposure before a major U.S. audience, but they have already caught the attention of the music industry, including Dave Stewart, formerly of The Eurythmics.

Stewart is producing their first album, set for release in February.
The group is also planning to launch a headlining U.S. tour in January.

The Wonder Girls became the first Korean singers to ever enter the U.S. singles charts in October, landing at 76 on Top-100 singles charts with virtually no promotion.

They performed the hit “Nobody,” with Kris Allen, the season eight “American Idol’ winner. Allen also performed his newest single “Live Like We’re Dying.”

The girls are already major pop stars on the Korean peninsula and were introduced as a “pop sensation” on the Fox program’s Web site.

“They are the striking chord with a young U.S. audience,” their producer and manager, singer-songwriter Park Jin-Young, said in a release.

The girls also have opened for the Jonas Brothers on the North American leg of the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 and have two No. 1 hits in Korea, “Tell Me” and “So Hot.”

The Wonder Girls appeal to young tween fans because of their cute and easy-to-follow dance moves and lyrics.

In a testament to their potential,  the group has signed a management contract with the Jonas Group and Hollywood’s Creative Artists Agency (CAA) which will rep them in the United States.

Stewart announced his collaboration with the Wonder Girls on Twitter over the wekened along with a short demo of “Always Without Me,” which will be on the Girls’ new album.

The Eurythmics, which included Stewart and Annie Lennox, had a string of hits in the 1980s including “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” and “Here Comes the Rain Again.”

[NEWS] 2PM moves to new & bigger house!!

We have this information a couple of days ago that our boys have moved to a newer and bigger house. It is located in the suburb area of Seoul.

And today on Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate show, Taecyeon mentioned his new house they just moved in. He talked about how his new room which he shares with Junsu (his old roommate) is too small, so he would like to have a little bit bigger room as present for this Christmas

Our source said that it is a 3-storey house with an one-hour drive to/from Seoul.

5 men team boy group SS501 member Park Jung Min's conversation made Tuesday night's temperature increase tremendously.

In the 8 December 10th episode's SBS 'Strong Heart', Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Hyung Joon and participated together with them, Park Jung Min was crowned with the description "Sexy Charisma'.

At the same time, their 2 months cold war which both leader Kim Hyun Joong and him experienced was exposed.

In the program, Park Jung Min said: "When I introduced myself, I will add in 'Sexy Charisma' before my name." He explained: "Usually you will hear 'look very wild' kind of words, so I fully show my 'Sexy beauty'.

Brain who was also participated in the program said: "Even waiting quietly aside, Jung Min is very dazzling", showing his heart felt praises to Jung Min.

When Jung Min was asked about what is the favourite expression, he said: "I think there is no other description which is more suitable than Sexy." His humorous answer

[News] SHINee to perform new single on "Music Bank" tomorrow

Korean idol group SHINee is set to perform their new single "JoJo" for the first time on KBS's "Music Bank" tomorrow, according to a press release by SM Entertainment.

"We are very happy and grateful because "Ring Ding Dong" was loved by so many people," the group was quoted as saying. "Please look forward to the upcoming "JoJo" performance."

The boy band had topped various music charts in Korea for several weeks with "Ring Ding Dong", the first single from their third mini-album "2009, Year Of Us" which was released in late October.

They have had several other K-pop hits, including their debut single "Older Girl, You're So Pretty" and "Juliette" earlier this year.

SHINee is also scheduled to perform on MBC's "Music Central" on Saturday and SBS's "Inkigayo" the following day.
